Becoming Me
 
Not to get all philosophical on you, but I like to think that our mission in life is simply to become more of who we are. We spend way too much energy trying to blend in, be accepted and prove ourselves to other people that sometimes we stop prioritizing our truest self.

Lots of us have the⠀mentality that if we’re loved by others, then we will love ourselves, so we try to fit in and seek acceptance. But in reality, we can only love ourselves when our actions align with who we really are.

This weekend I made a list of my best qualities, likes, strengths, and passions - My intention is to become more of that, unapologetically!

Also, I plan to get rid of the activities and traits that do not feel true to me, and fill up that empty space with more me-ness.

I also painted this perky pouting Goddess! This is the look I'm going to give myself every time⠀pass a mirror from now on 😏
